1st Workshop on Internet of Things Identification Technology

Description

The theme of the workshop was Internet of Things (IoT) identification, aiming to explore how to uniquely identify, manage, and track items in IoT applications. Attendees shared the latest IoT identification technologies and application cases, including identification solutions based on technologies such as RFID, barcode, QR code, and active identification carriers, as well as different identification types such as OID, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) identification, and DID, and schemes that use blockchain technology to enhance identification security and credibility. In addition, participants discussed and exchanged ideas on standardization, application scenarios, and data privacy protection issues related to identification technology in IoT. This seminar provided valuable experience and ideas for the development of IoT identification technology and promoted deep cooperation between academia and industry.

 

Paper Submission Deadline

Important Dates:

  • Deadline for Paper Submissions: July 30th, 2023
  • Acceptance Notification: September 8th, 2023
  • Deadline for Camera-Ready Paper Submissions:  September 29th, 2023
  • Deadline for Presentation Submissions: October 2nd, 2023

Papers should be six (6) pages in length and follow the instruction provided for the main Conference. The conference allows up to two additional pages for a maximum length of eight (8) pages with payment of extra page charges once the paper has been accepted.

Chairs

Cheng Chi: China Academy of Information and Communications Technology

Cheng Chi is mainly engaged in research work in the fields of industrial Internet and blockchain. He is currently the director of the Technology Research Department of the Industrial Internet and Internet of Things Research Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a member of the CCF Blockchain Committee, the leader of the TC13 WG6 working group of the China Communications Standards Association, the leader of the ISO/IEC TC154 Blockchain Working Group, and IEEE distribution Initiator of the Shiki Universe Project. Long-term support for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission and other competent departments, as core personnel to participate in the formulation of the "Industrial Internet Development Action Plan (2021-2023)", "The 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Information and Communication Industry (2021)", " Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Application of Blockchain Technology and Industrial Development" and other national strategic plans. He took the lead in writing and publishing more than 10 important white papers such as "Industrial Internet Architecture 2.0", "Blockchain Infrastructure Research Report", "Global Web3 Technology Industry Ecological Development Report".

Zihang Yin: China Academy of Information and Communications Technology

Zihang Yin is mainly engaged in technical research and industrial promotion in the fields of new industrial identification analysis, blockchain infrastructure, next-generation Internet Web3, and new identification carriers. He participated in and published "Industrial Internet Identification Industry Application Guide (Ship)", "Block Blockchain Infrastructure Research Report (2022), "Industrial Internet Identification Analysis - Active Identification Carrier Application White Paper" and other reports. He has published many papers, patents and standard achievements, and he is the main author of IEEE P3807 and P3808 standards.
